Frequently asked
- No. The widgets are free, forever. We make money when readers click through and buy from a dealer — the same affiliate model that funds every comparison page on the site.
- No. The loader script is under 5KB minified, async, and never blocks page rendering. The widget HTML itself is fully static; the loader patches in fresh data on first paint.
- No. The attribution is the deal: it stays in, the widget stays free. Hiding it via CSS will be detected by the loader and the widget will refuse to render.
- No. Medium strips embeds and does not allow raw HTML. Use Substack, Ghost, WordPress, or any platform with a "custom HTML" block.
- UTM parameters are automatically attached to every outbound dealer click — utm_source=embed, utm_medium=html, utm_campaign=<your-domain>. Your dealer affiliate dashboard will show the attribution.
- Email us at hello@goldandsilversaver.com with the use case. If we can build it as a generic surface that helps other creators too, we will.
